The application of innovative solutions for vertical space use allows for a more efficient use of the existing built environment [1] and provides green spaces and/or affordable housing in neighbourhoods [1] . Scope: The increased demand for housing and thus land can conflict with the need to preserve and restore nature and biodiversity in our neighbourhoods. The UK Government's Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions (UK PACT) programme is inviting quotations from qualified suppliers or consortia to deliver an economy-wide assessment of carbon market opportunities and institutional capacity strengthening support in the Philippines. The Philippines has committed to an ambitious Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), targeting a 75% reduction and avoidance of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Achieving this target will require significant international support, strengthened institutional capacity, and the mobilisation of climate finance to accelerate mitigation action across priority sectors. Carbon markets are increasingly recognised as a potential mechanism to unlock climate finance and support cost-effective emissions reductions. As the Philippines advances implementation of its updated NDC, Nationally Determined Contribution Implementation Plan (NDCIP), and Long-Term Strategy (LTS), there is a timely opportunity to assess how carbon markets, including potential participation under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, can contribute to national climate objectives while maintaining environmental integrity and alignment with national priorities. The Climate Change Commission (CCC) of the Philippines is seeking a qualified supplier to support the next phase of this UK PACT partnership. Building on previous support provided through UK PACT, including the development of the Philippine Emissions Pathway Calculator (PEPC), this assignment will strengthen the evidence base and institutional capacity required to guide the development of carbon markets in the Philippines. The selected supplier will undertake an economy-wide assessment of carbon market opportunities, including indicative mitigation and revenue potential across priority sectors, sector prioritisation, and the development of a preliminary pipeline of carbon market opportunities. In parallel, the supplier will provide targeted technical assistance and capacity-building support to strengthen the CCC's ability to oversee, coordinate, and guide carbon market development in collaboration with relevant government agencies and stakeholders. Site works to restore the headwaters of the Greenlands mire system within the Purbeck Heaths National Nature Reserve, as part of a wider delivery programme led by the Dorset Peatland Partnership. The aim is to secure peat forming habitats, improve peat condition, slow flow rates and maximise Carbon capture within currently degraded mire systems. This will be achieved using a range of sensitive restoration techniques that are described in more detail in the attached restoration plans and project specifications. Activities include creating peat bunds and in-channel dams, mulching molinia vegetation and sallow tree removal. Contractors will be chosen based on capacity, capability, relevant experience including of working in sensitive habitats on protected sites, proposed solution and cost. Tree works, including but not limited to felling, reducing and clearing, to be carried out during business hours. This does not include emergency or out of hours works. The contractor must possess, maintain, and have access to all necessary equipment to effectively and safely execute tree work during business hours. This includes, but is not limited to: Vehicles - Robust 4x4 vehicles suitable for park access (with appropriate clearance/permissions), fully insured and equipped with secure storage and lighting. Lifting, Rigging - Rigging equipment (slings, blocks, ropes, port-a-wraps) and winches (vehicle-mounted or manual) for securing and controlling large/fallen timber. Lighting - High-intensity, self-powered lighting towers/generators for safe work visibility during night-time operations. Welfare, Safety - Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all crew (helmets, visors, chainsaw trousers, boots, hearing protection), mobile welfare facilities, and traffic management signage/cones. Clearance - Woodchipper and/or tipper truck/trailer capacity suitable for immediate removal or large volumes of timber and brushwood.

The goal of this NOFO is to fund veterinary diagnostic laboratories in the Vet-LIRN network for grants associated with projects and equipment. Specific objectives include: 1. Supporting the development, adaptation, or verification/validation of new methods associated with animal food issues or antimicrobial resistance. 2. Short-term surveillance or monitoring efforts aligned with the CVM mission. 3. Supporting equipment for testing or developing tests associated with animal food-related issues or antimicrobial resistance, including those for emerging technologies. 4. Developing projects related to antimicrobial stewardship, in alignment with CVM's key initiatives in this area. 5. Contributing as part of Vet-LIRN's AMR monitoring program, including sequencing isolates. 6. Supporting work associated with One Health, including emerging diseases such as COVID-19, when funding is available.

This cooperative agreement is intended to enhance the capacity and capabilities of state human and animal food testing laboratories in support of an integrated food safety system (IFSS). This is achieved through prioritized sample testing and food defense preparedness in the areas of microbiology, chemistry, and radiochemistry, as well as method development and capacity/capability development projects that support and expand food safety and food defense testing.
