The work to be delivered under this contract broadly comprises 2 elements: 1. Works that NGED require their customer to complete on their behalf, which is a stipulation of their quote, dated 14 August 2025 (Appendix 03 - Quotation). 2. The works comprise the replacement of the existing handrails to the external fire escape stairwell at Kenworthy House. In addition, the scope includes the cleaning and repair of concrete elements to the stairwell structure, incorporating the treatment of exposed reinforcement with appropriate corrosion inhibitors and the application of a clear anti-carbonation protective coating.
