Boundary Road Playground
Boundary Rd playground is a well-used playground located near to Lovel End School on Boundary Rd, Chalfont St Peter. The current playground consists mostly of ageing wooden equipment with wood chip safety surfacing. Much of the equipment and surfacing is showing signs of wear and is in need of replacement. Although the playground currently contains a limited range of equipment, the Council is seeking to include more exciting play equipment that caters to children between 1 and 12 years of age. The work is for the design and redevelopment of Boundary Rd playground. This includes the supply and installation of appropriate groundworks, safety surfacing and play equipment. The contractor is also responsible for the removal of designated existing equipment, as agreed with the Council. All works should comply to the British and European Standard for playground equipment and surfacing BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177. The contractor will be responsible for organizing an independent, post-installation RoSPA inspection and sign-off and rectifying any issues identified at their own cost. Rocket Park Refresh Project 2026
→Lytchett Matravers Parish Council invites tenders for the refurbishment and enhancement of Rocket Park, the village's principal public play area located in Lytchett Matravers, Poole, Dorset. The successful contractor will be responsible for all associated removal, disposal, surfacing, installation, welfare facilities, site safety, and reinstatement works. All equipment and surfacing must comply with current relevant British Standards including BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177. The anticipated contract value is approximately between £70,000-£85,000 excluding VAT. Works are intended to take place during Autumn 2026, with contractors requested to minimise disruption during school holiday periods where possible.
