The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Research is accepting applications for the Scholarly Editions and Translations program. The purpose of this program is to support collaborative teams who edit, annotate, and translate foundational humanities texts that are vital to generating new scholarship but are not available in adequate editions or translations. This year’s competition is limited to projects on American history and culture or Western civilization.

The program supports groups of two or more scholars increasing humanistic knowledge through the preparation of a manuscript for print publication, the creation of a scholarly digital project, or the planning of an international collaboration. Boundary Rd playground is a well-used playground located near to Lovel End School on Boundary Rd, Chalfont St Peter. The current playground consists mostly of ageing wooden equipment with wood chip safety surfacing. Much of the equipment and surfacing is showing signs of wear and is in need of replacement. Although the playground currently contains a limited range of equipment, the Council is seeking to include more exciting play equipment that caters to children between 1 and 12 years of age. The work is for the design and redevelopment of Boundary Rd playground. This includes the supply and installation of appropriate groundworks, safety surfacing and play equipment. The contractor is also responsible for the removal of designated existing equipment, as agreed with the Council. All works should comply to the British and European Standard for playground equipment and surfacing BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177. The contractor will be responsible for organizing an independent, post-installation RoSPA inspection and sign-off and rectifying any issues identified at their own cost. The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Collections & Infrastructure is accepting applications for Collections Stewardship, a program to advance the preservation and availability of physical and digital collections important for research, teaching, and public engagement in the humanities. Planning and implementation projects may include conservation and preservation; digitization and description; enhancement of long-standing digital resources in the humanities; and preservation services or education and training for students and professionals in collections stewardship.

The U.S. Mission to Australia’s Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) announces an open competition to implement projects that advance U.S. economic, commercial, and security interests in Australia. This Annual Program Statement (APS) outlines strategic goals, expected outcomes, target audiences, eligibility criteria, and application guidelines for cooperative agreements ranging from $25,000 to $100,000, with a project duration of up to 24 months. Project proposals must address at least one of the following goals: ·        Promote flag football in Australia; ·        Combat antisemitism through Holocaust education; ·        Strengthen Pacific Islands partnership by highlighting shared cultural values among the peoples of the United States, Australia, and the Pacific Islands focusing on arts, cultural heritage preservation, education, and training. Hazlemere Parish Council are inviting companies to Tender for the refurbishment of Hazlemere Recreation Ground playground. The successful contractor will be responsible for the turnkey delivery of the project, including: • Site Preparation: Safe dismantling, removal, and environmentally responsible disposal of all existing playground equipment and the current nature trail. • Surfacing: Removal of existing safety surfacing and installation of a new, durable, compliant, and low-maintenance safety surface (e.g., wet pour, bonded mulch, or smart hybrid surfacing) that meets all BS EN 1176/1177 standards. • Play Equipment Installation: Supply and installation of new play equipment catering to a wide range of ages and abilities. • Nature Trail: Complete redesign and replacement of the nature trail to foster sensory and environmental engagement - it does not need to be another nature trail. • (Optional) The Zip Wire: Replacement of the existing zip wire located adjacent to the main playground on a like-for-like basis (or enhanced equivalent), ensuring it remains a robust attraction for older children. 3. We require a space where children with physical, neurodivergent, or sensory disabilities can play alongside their peers. • Play Value: High density of play features per square meter (e.g., climbing, balancing, swinging, sliding, tactile panels, and roleplay elements). • Biodiversity & Integration: The new nature trail should seamlessly blend into the recreation ground, utilizing natural materials where appropriate to encourage exploration of local flora and fauna. • Value of money: The project must provide value for money Budget & Financial Framework • Core Proposed Budget: £80,000 (inclusive of all plant, labour, materials, waste disposal, and post-installation certification). • Budget Flexibility: The Council recognizes that delivering exceptional inclusivity or uniquely high play value may require additional investment. The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Amman ann ounces an open competition to implement a program titled Reel American: The Road to the Olympic Rings. Reel American is a 21-month public diplomacy film program designed to showcase American excellence in sports and build excitement ahead of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
