We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and accredited Independent Connection Providers (ICPs), Self-Lay Providers (SLPs), and multi-utility contractors to deliver contestable utility connection works across several active construction sites in London. Please note that the estimated contract value shown is based on a per site average. The works encompass the design, procurement, excavation, installation, testing, and commissioning of primary utility infrastructure for: - Power (HV/LV distribution and substation connections) - Water (Main tapping, metering, chlorination, and adoption prep) - Telecommunications (Ducting, chambers, and fibre integration) SCOPE OF WORKS BY UTILITY a) Power Infrastructure: - Installation of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) cables. - Substation base construction, transformer positioning, and jointing. - Delivery of contestable works under UK Power Networks (UKPN) adoption standards. b) Water Infrastructure: - Main connections, boundary box installations, and site distribution pipework. - Pressure testing, chlorination, and water sampling under Thames Water / Affinity Water standards. c) Telecoms & Communications: - Installation of Openreach / Virgin Media / Altnets compliant ducting and footway chambers. - Cable pulling, lead-in installation, and box terminations. LONDON OPERATIONAL CONSTRAINTS & SITE CONDITIONS Contracts will take place in high-density urban environments. Bidders must demonstrate proven capability in managing: - NRSWA Compliance & Highway Authorities: Securing Section 50/171 licenses, managing Traffic Management (TM) schemes, and adhering to London Borough / TfL permit systems. - Sub-surface Utilities: Operating in congested underground service environments utilizing PAS 128 (Type B/A) utility mapping and GPR scanning prior to excavation. - Low Emission Requirements: Compliance with London's NRMM (Non-Road Mobile Machinery) emissions standards and FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) Silver/Gold for site deliveries. CONTRACTUAL STRUCTURE We reserve the right to award this scope as a single multi-utility package or split the requirements into trade-specific lots (Water, Power, Telecoms) depending on response quality.

he project concerns the refurbishment of the Mount Edgcumbe Barrow Centre following damage sustained to the accommodation block by a fire on the afternoon of 04 February 2025. 3.2. The primary objective of the project is to re-establish the commercial operations of the fire damaged parts of the Barrow Centre whilst giving due consideration to its surroundings, heritage and constraints. 3.3. The Barrow Centre comprises the historic service yard and associated buildings for the Mount Edgcumbe Estate, now utilised as a visitors centre for the modern park and gardens. The central U-shaped stable block consists of a two and three storey mixed-use building containing a cafe, shops, workers flats and 2 holiday lets. The fire damaged section of the property forming the focus of this project consists of the split level northern wing containing 2 holiday cottages, Yew Tree Cottage and Horseshoe Cottage, and 2 workers flats, numbers 3 and 6 which in total provided 8 no. bedrooms. 3.4. The Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park is jointly owned by Cornwall Council (CC) and Plymouth City Council (PCC). PCC are the insurance policyholders for the Park and remain the beneficiaries for any sums paid out under the insurance claim. EKFB JV seek EOI's from interested parties with the appropriate experience and resources for the supply of Welfare Equipment (inclusive of Mobile Welfare Accommodation, Welfare Vans, Portable Toilets) to support the delivery of our C23 HS2 project. The 3 areas for delivery are North Chilterns Area and Aylesbury Area (NC2A), Calvert to Greatworth (C2G) and Greatworth to Southam (G2S). EKFB JV is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 6.9km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation. EKFB JV may look to award multiple agreements to suit geographical capability dependent on the response to this EOI, in support of SME's and Local Businesses.

Arc Property Services Partnership Ltd (the Client), is seeking to appoint a single contractor to deliver painting and decorating works under an NEC4 Term Service Short Contract. The Contract will also be made available to VIA East Midlands Ltd (Participating Organisation). The scope of works will include the provision of painting and decorating services across a varied portfolio of operational and commercial properties across the operational estate that manages on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) and other customers. Works will be undertaken at sites located across Nottinghamshire (main area), Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Leicestershire. The contract is expected to commence in February 2027 for an initial period of two years, with the option to extend for up to two additional periods of two years each, up to a maximum potential end date in 2033 (2+2+2 = 6 years). The estimated total value of the contract over its full potential duration is approximately £780,000 (inclusive of VAT). This only an estimate and the award will be based on the outcome of the tender process. This procurement will be carried out as a two-stage process comprising a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) stage followed by an Invitation to Tender (ITT). One supplier will be appointed. Suppliers will be invited to submit a Stage 1 response demonstrating their suitability, capability, capacity, relevant experience, technical competence, accreditations, financial standing and compliance with the Authority's minimum requirements. Responses will be evaluated against the published selection criteria. Following evaluation, the Authority intends to shortlist the highest-scoring suppliers who meet the minimum requirements and invite them to participate in Stage 2. The successful supplier will be expected to work collaboratively with the Client, contribute to social value outcomes, support carbon reduction objectives and demonstrate high standards of health and safety, compliance, and service delivery across all commissioned works. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Bidders should be made aware that as the Client's main customer is NCC, there is a risk of increase or decrease in the number of sites managed and the types of properties serviced, due to the proposal of local government reorganisation. The Authority reserves the right to amend the procurement timetable, request clarifications, and conduct presentations, interviews or site visits where considered necessary and proportionate.

The U.S. Wildland Fire Service Joint Fire Science Program (JFSP) is seeking proposals from current master and doctoral students enrolled at colleges or universities within the US in the field of wildland fire and related physical, biological, and social sciences to apply for a Fire Leaders And Managers, Emerging Scientists (FLAMES) award.  The purpose of a FLAMES award is to enhance student exposure to the management and policy relevance of their research, to provide opportunities for experiential learning and exposure to fire management practices, and to foster peer-learning, mentorship and career development. Successful applicants will be expected to meet the following program requirements during the project period: 1.     Complete a research project that supplements the student’s current thesis or dissertation research plan. 2.     Gain practical experience and exposure to wildland fire practitioners, through participation in prescribed fire, wildfire, or other activity related to fire management (management activities relevant to the student’s area of expertise). 3.     Attend regularly scheduled JFSP-organized virtual meetings designed to build a student cohort, share information, and introduce students to training and engagement opportunities. 4.     Participate in at least one in-person event to exchange science with practitioners (i.e., workshop, training, field tour) and develop at least one management-relevant product (e.g., webinar, factsheet) that describes the management relevance of their research. Proposals must describe a new, unfunded wildland fire research project that extends ongoing or planned research that is the subject of a thesis or dissertation that has been approved by the graduate student’s advisor or advisory committee. The U.S. Embassy Muscat seeks an implementing partner to administer the U.S.-Omani Youth Council, a structured leadership and bilateral-engagement program for 10-15 university students from diverse academic disciplines and regions of Oman. The program will strengthen participants' understanding of the longstanding U.S.-Omani relationship and expose them to cooperation in diplomacy, trade, space, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and other shared priorities. It supports the United States’ Embassy's Freedom250 campaign and Oman Vision 2040 and by promoting youth leadership, civic participation, human capital development, innovation, and sustained people-to-people ties. The recipient will conduct university outreach; manage an open application and interview process; select a cohort in coordination with the Embassy; organize seven monthly sessions and experiential visits from November 2026 through May 2027; arrange participant travel and program logistics; administer a competitive mini-grants component of up to three participant-led projects, not exceeding $1,500 each; deliver a capstone event; establish an alumni-engagement structure; and monitor and report program results. The Embassy will work closely with the recipient on participant selection, speakers, official visits, program content, public communications, and mini-grant approvals.
