EKFB seek EOI's from interested parties with the appropriate experience and resources for the supply of 8 wheel tipper wagons to support the delivery of our C23 HS2 project. The 3 areas for delivery are North Chilterns to Aylesbury (NC2A), Calvert to Greatworth (C2G) and Greatworth to Southam (G2S). EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 6.9km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation. EKFB may look to award multiple Suppliers to suit geographical capability dependant on the response to this EOI, in support of SME's and Local Businesses.

FBRS JV is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers capable of providing a road-rail trailer solution to transport and handle 216m long welded rail sections across tracked and trackless environments, including tunnels. The solution may be bespoke, modified from an existing asset, or based on a proven product. It must be capable of safely transporting at least eight 216m rail sections per load, operating on both road and rail, negotiating 5,000m radius curves, maximum 160mm canted sections can't deficiency, 3.50% maximum gradients, and achieving speeds above 10km/h, subject to supplier technical evidence. Suppliers should be able to demonstrate relevant capability and experience in road-rail plant, specialist rail handling equipment, design/modification, certification, testing, operation, and maintenance. FBRS JV is also interested in solutions that support reuse, asset repurposing, and lower-carbon outcomes.

Applications for ERC Plus Grants should be for projects that could not be carried out with a regular ERC grant. Applicants should explain how the proposed project aims go beyond those of a regular ERC project, for example, because they have a vision to transform their field or open a new field of research.
