Derby City Council (the Council) is undertaking this procurement to establish two contracts: • Lot 1 Asbestos removal and remediation services • Lot 2 Asbestos analyst services The procurement process adopted by the Council is based on the 'Open' tendering procedure as detailed in the Procurement Act 2023 (the "Act") and the Procurement Regulations 2024 (the "Regulations".) For Lot 1 the asbestos removal and remediation services contract, the initial contract period is two years and is estimated to commence on 1st February 2027 and expire on 31st January 2029. For Lot 2 the asbestos analyst services contract, the initial contract period is two years and is estimated to commence on 13th February 2027 and expire on 12th February 2029. For both contracts there will be an option to extend the contract for three (3) years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum contract period is five (5) years. Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) is underway in several areas across the country and may result in changes to council structures, service delivery and responsibilities, and geographical coverage during the life of the contract. For this contract it is anticipated that the effects of LGR may lead to an increased service demand or the need to extend provision to new areas or client groups. For Lot 1 the asbestos removal and remediation services contract, bidders should note that the total estimated contract value of £1,172,000, comprises of two components: i) The core contract value, estimated at £293,000, based on known current service requirements ii) An additional estimated value of £879,000 to reflect potential future changes in service scope or volume linked to LGR. For Lot 2 the asbestos analyst services contract, bidders should note that the total estimated contract value of £2,616,000, comprises of two components: i) The core contract value, estimated at £654,000, based on known current service requirements ii) An additional estimated value of £1,962,000 to reflect potential future changes in service scope or volume linked to LGR. These figures are estimations and due to only being in the early stages of the process the Authority cannot give any commitment on these figures but would like to build scope into the Contract should the need arise.

Ramsgate Town Council will be appointing a contractor to undertake internal refurbishment and alteration works to at Radford House. The works are located at the public facility in Ramsgate - previously the Old Fire Station, at 18-20 Effingham Street, Ramsgate, CT11 9AT. The internal works are part of a wider redevelopment of the site, which includes external alterations to the building, and temporary technicians accommodation (externals ongoing - internals to follow) The refurbishment is required to undertake repairs, and implement change of use from former fire station to public facillity. The contractor is to undertake refurbishment works as listed within the attached documents. All works shall be undertaken in accordance with the client's consultant's approval. The works need to be undertaken by an experienced contractor that have the necessary skills and experience to undertake the works as required. This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) encourages applications for investigator-initiated, early phase, clinical trials of natural products (i.e., botanicals, probiotics, and products marketed as dietary supplements), which have a strong scientific premise to justify further clinical testing. For this NOFO, natural products include promising nutritional regimens that standardize the amount of a specific naturally occurring nutritional compound (e.g., omega-3 fatty acids, anthocyanidins, or polyphenols) and have compelling preliminary evidence. Under this NOFO, trials must be designed so that results, whether positive or negative, will provide information of high scientific utility and will support decisions about further development or testing of the natural product. This NOFO will provide up to three years (R61 phase) of support for milestone-driven testing of pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, and assessment of the natural products effect (i.e., measure of mechanism of action) when used by humans on a specified target measure. If milestones in the R61 phase are achieved, up to 3 years of additional support (R33 phase) may be awarded to replicate the impact of the natural product on target engagement(s) when used by humans and assess whether there is an association between the degree of the impact on the target engagement and clinical outcomes in a participant population. Applications are encouraged to design R33 studies to determine how to optimize the impact of the natural product on the target engagement by optimizing the delivery of the natural product through examination of different doses or formulations. In addition, applications can be designed to combine the natural product with another treatment approach that is known to impact the same target engagement measure; or study the impact of the natural product in a population that is more responsive,

The Genomics Research to Elucidate the Genetics of Rare Diseases:innovation (GREGoRi) initiative seeks to accelerate a paradigm shift in rare disease diagnosis by reimagining the tools, molecular technologies and analytical approaches used to identify the causal gene(s) and/or variant(s) underlying rare genetic disorders. This Notice of Funding Opportunity is intended to stimulate the development and testing of highly innovative experimental or computational approaches for rare disease diagnosis, that have the potential to make transformative improvements to the current state of the art.

The American Institute in Taiwan Public Diplomacy Section announces an open competition for one cooperative agreement to support the implementation of four Global Cooperation and Training Framework Classic workshops in Taiwan during calendar year 2027. The GCTF is a capacity building platform that brings together government officials, industry experts, academics, and civil society representatives to exchange practical experience and promote professional cooperation on emerging regional and global challenges. Workshop topics will be jointly identified by GCTF partners and may address resilience, emerging technologies, economic security, trusted supply chains, democratic governance, and other shared priorities. Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) along with other participating Institutes encourages submission of applications proposing to conduct secondary data analysis and integration of existing datasets and database resources, with the ultimate aim to elucidate cancer risk and related outcomes (e.g., risk prediction or reduction, survival, or response to treatment, etc.). The goal of this initiative is to address key scientific questions relevant to cancer by supporting the analysis of existing clinical, environmental, surveillance, health services, vital statistics, behavioral, lifestyle, genomic, and molecular profiles data. Applicants are encouraged to leverage and perform innovative analyses of the existing data. Applications may include new research aims that are being addressed with existing data, new or advanced methods of analyses, or novel combinations and integration of datasets that allow the exploration of important scientific questions in cancer research.
