The Heat Pump Investment Accelerator Competition (HPIAC), worth up to £90 million in total, aims to bring forward investment in the UK heat pump manufacturing supply chain. The Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS) will meet the cost of addressing life safety fire risks associated with cladding on residential buildings over 11m in height (11-18m in London).

Grants for projects that repair, conserve and care for historic places including buildings, structures, monuments, landscapes and areas.

This funding is only available for Local Authorities and Fire and Rescue Authorities. The funding is for them to procure legal advice on pursuing those responsible for remediating buildings.

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £150 million. The funding will be to develop, deploy and operate innovative clean maritime solutions for three years in a real world environment. This funding is from the Department for Transport.

The grant will be awarded to a single entity (individual organisation or consortium) to provide the Independent Legal Advisors Service which will provide free, independent legal advice to help victims of adult rape understand, uphold and feel confident in their legal rights. The MoJ intends to provide up to £3.62m in grant funding over 2.5 years to a single applicant or consortium of applicants. The successful bidder will be selected through a competitive process, with final decisions made by an expert evaluation panel appointed by the MoJ. There is no expectation that bidders will continue or replicate existing programme activities. We welcome fresh thinking and innovative approaches to delivering the objectives set out below. While bidders may wish to consider how existing assets, networks and momentum could be leveraged where appropriate, proposals should be driven by what applicants believe will deliver the greatest impact over the next phase of the programme.

Expected Outcome: The targeted outcomes reflect the above challenges and cover a comprehensive Front End module design which: Covers the FR3 range as defined by the relevant Agenda Item of WRC 27 (7 to 15 GHz range) with possible extension up to 24 GHz if required by some regional implementations, with inherent tuning capabilities to accommodate potential regional variations. Mitigates interferences with incumbent FR3 band users and maximises sharing capabilities across the band in line with the European regulatory approach on spectrum sharing. Enables integration of a large number of antenna elements beyond the State of the Art and support massive MIMO implementation with compensation of increased path loss compared to 5G FR1 implementations. Enables at least an order-of-magnitude increase in RF processing compared to 5G FR1 implementations. Enables 5G cell site reuse and minimises deployment complexity on top of 5G sites deployment. Expected Impact: Projects funded under this call are expected to deliver tangible industrial outputs that demonstrably advance the readiness and affordability of future governmental Ka-band user terminals for IRIS2 and GOVSATCOM services. Expected outputs include, for example: qualified production processes, calibrated sub-assemblies, pilot-run units, validated manufacturing equipment chains or manufacturing cost models. Purely analytical deliverables (studies, design reports) are not sufficient as primary outputs but may complement the above. Where relevant, outputs shall include documented design assumptions, interface parameters or process specifications enabling adaptation to different terminal configurations with limited re-engineering, so as to support uptake in follow-on integration, pilot deployment and scale-up activities.
