The Council wishes to appoint a suitably experienced external partner (the Partner) to deliver a Get Work Ready Programme on behalf of NMD LMP. The Partner will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of the Newry, Mourne and Down Labour Market Partnership (NMD LMP) Get Work Ready programme across the entire Council area. Aimed at supporting individuals who are unemployed or economically inactive to progress into employment, education, training, or other pathways, the Get Work Ready programme will enhance employability and long-term labour market participation, while aligning delivery with local labour market needs and the strategic objectives of the Labour Market Partnership. Kensington and Chelsea's Adult Learning Service is seeking organisations who deliver adult and family learning to join the Pseudo-Framework (5-year framework) for the remaining period until 31 July 2028. The Service is keen to engage with a wide range of providers who are able to deliver adult and family learning opportunities at a variety of locations in the borough, meeting the broad range of needs and residents across this diverse borough. In June 2026, Leicester College secured both FE and HE Turing Scheme contracts for 2026/27. To enable selected 2026/27 student cohorts to benefit from overseas further education-based mobility placements, we are currently welcoming applications from experienced and reputable organisations to support us by organising, managing, and delivering these international mobility placements. Leicester College intends to contract to one or more providers within the contract period. The anticipated annual value of the services is approximately £25,000 to £125,000 depending on your capacity, costs and our student volumes. To be considered as a partner organisation we require, as a minimum:  Demonstrable experience of supporting international mobility placements with UK further education students, including apprentices  Evidence of working with disadvantaged, underrepresented, and SEND students, with tailored support approaches  Provision of high-quality work placements with external employers that enable students to enhance transferable skills and improve educational and career prospects  Placements for 14 or 15 days (with a minimum of 10 work/study days), or at least 7 days for students with SEND  Placements scheduled between 1 October 2026 and 31 August 2027  Clear understanding of Turing Scheme funding categories and the DfE grant rates for chosen destinations Leicester College will consider destinations where partners have strong employer networks and can deliver value for money within DfE funding rates. Destinations will be assessed against:  Government Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) travel advice, with particular attention to any regions affected by ongoing political instability or conflict.  College risk assessment protocols. For example, the recent Middle East conflict which could affect stopover plans and cause travel disruptions.

The Regional Improvement for Standards and Excellence (RISE) initiative is a programme by the DfE that is central to the goal of raising standards for all children in all schools across the country. RISE forms part of the government’s Opportunity Mission which focuses on breaking down the barriers to opportunity and ending the link between background and success. The RISE grant will provide mandatory targeted intervention to schools that Ofsted have identified as needing to improve which will act as a catalyst for collaboration and improvement. Where appropriate, RISE teams will arrange for a high-quality organisation to work with a school, via its responsible body, with grants available to fund supporting activity.

The School-based Nursery (SBN) Capital Grant 2027 to 2030 (phase 3) is a local authority-led delivery model. Local authorities are responsible for developing and submitting multi-year funding proposals that set out plans for creating or expanding SBN provision in their area. These proposals can include projects across state-funded primary schools, maintained nursery schools (MNS), and Best Start Family Hub (BSFH) sites. This is the third phase of the school-based nurseries programme. It builds on the foundations of phase 1 (SBN Capital Grant 2024 to 2025) and phase 2 (SBN Capital Grant 2025 to 2026) and has an increased focus on supporting disadvantaged families to access early years provision.
