Fully Managed Renal Dialysis Satellite Unit in Crawley Area
South West London Procurement Partnership (SWLPP), on behalf of Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust (ESTH) (the "Authority") invites tenders from experienced and qualified organizations for the provision of a fully managed renal satellite dialysis satellite unit located in the Crawley area, providing all the facilities, equipment, consumables and renal nursing services required to deliver a fully managed renal dialysis satellite unit. The objective of this competitive tender exercise is to select a single provider capable of delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions in accordance with the specifications detailed in the Tender Pack. A detailed Specification of Requirements is included in the Tender Documentation. Please note, the current Crawley renal dialysis satellite unit is a joint venture between Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust (ESTH) and University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSx). Patients from both Trusts currently receive treatment at the Crawley unit. At the time of the pre-market engagement, both Trusts fully intended reprocuring the Crawley unit jointly. However, it has since been agreed that each Trust will independently procure a solution for their own cohort of patients from the Crawley area. This tender will only include activity numbers for patients under the treatment of Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust (ESTH). Current and estimated numbers will be included in the Tender Documentation. This required all calls for support during mental health crisis to be made via 111 by the end of March 2024 and is referred to as 111-2. Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) currently deliver this service in partnership with a system partner. AWP is seeking a provider to deliver an integrated model for the NHS 111 Mental Health Crisis Response Service (111 Option 2) for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis across both adult (18 years and over) and children and young people (under 18 years) pathways. The appointed provider will be solely responsible for the delivery of the call handling element of the 111 Option 2 pathway, including access, triage and call management. The service forms part of the NHS England requirement that callers contacting NHS 111 and selecting the mental health option are connected directly to a dedicated mental health response service available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
