→Expected Outcome: The targeted outcomes reflect the above challenges and cover a comprehensive Front End module design which: Covers the FR3 range as defined by the relevant Agenda Item of WRC 27 (7 to 15 GHz range) with possible extension up to 24 GHz if required by some regional implementations, with inherent tuning capabilities to accommodate potential regional variations. Mitigates interferences with incumbent FR3 band users and maximises sharing capabilities across the band in line with the European regulatory approach on spectrum sharing. Enables integration of a large number of antenna elements beyond the State of the Art and support massive MIMO implementation with compensation of increased path loss compared to 5G FR1 implementations. Enables at least an order-of-magnitude increase in RF processing compared to 5G FR1 implementations. Enables 5G cell site reuse and minimises deployment complexity on top of 5G sites deployment. Enables low-cost and low energy implementation of the elementary constituent modules, efficient packaging and is mainly based on the integration of microelectronics heterogeneous technologies where European industry has strong expertise and…

Tender$1MCloses todayESPHealthLower Thames Crossing - Kent Roads - Pile Cropping
→The scope of works comprises the provision of all necessary labour, plant and equipment to undertake pile cropping activities as required across LTC - Kent Roads. The works will include the safe and controlled cropping of piles to the required cut-off levels in accordance with project requirements, specifications and relevant health and safety standards. The subcontractor will be required to provide suitably trained and competent personnel, including appropriate supervision. All operatives must hold a valid Highways Passport, CSCS card, and any other relevant competency or certification required to undertake the works. The Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) is a new road to better connect Essex and Kent through a tunnel beneath the River Thames. Our purpose is to drive a change in how we deliver - connecting people to jobs, businesses to opportunities, leaving a skills legacy for the local community and championing biodiversity and low-carbon construction. To support the project ambitions, we are committed to publishing opportunities on Contracts Finder to ensure full visibility for SMEs and local subcontractors. By doing so, we widen access to the Lower Thames Crossing supply chain, encourage participation from smaller and local businesses, and help unlock regional growth. This approach ensures that organisations of all sizes can compete fairly, strengthens local economies, and maximises the benefit of investment within the communities closest to the project. Our ambition is to deliver the UK's greenest road, and to do the right thing for local communities and the environment. We can only achieve this with the support of our supply chain, and it is therefore critical that for any supplier to be successful in winning work on LTC, they must demonstrate commitments to supporting delivery of our ambitions: • Supporting LTC to leave a skills legacy for the local community. This means recruiting a local workforce and upskilling the supply chain to enable meaningful progression into higher paid, higher skilled work. • Delivering LTC with the lowest practicable carbon. This includes adoption of our "zero emissions" intent, eradication of diesel on site and promotion of alternative sustainable fuels. • Helping to create successful opportunities by providing early careers roles, such as apprenticeships, and inspiring young people into construction through delivery of STEM engagement. The operatives involved in the works shall be competent with relevant qualifications and competency cards (CSCS) and have a Highway Passport. →"The planned introduction of longer train services to the Airport in response to future demand growth will mean that double stacking arrangements of trains as currently used will no longer be viable. Through the project's Delivery Steering Group, Northern and TransPennine Express have carried out analysis which has identified that additional platform capacity is needed at the airport in order to realise the full benefit of longer train services serving the airport. The scheme is part of a package of proposed measures in the Manchester area that are being designed/planned to boost capacity and resilience, emanating from the Cross Manchester Capacity and Reliability Improvement Study. Improving the operation of train services in the centre of Manchester and providing further capacity at Manchester Airport station, aligns with the strategic aims of Network Rail, TfGM, TfN and the wider industry. This project in in Tranche 1 of the Manchester and North West Transformation Programme (MNTP): A remodelling of the station at Manchester Airport, specifically a platform addition or extension of multiple platforms, or provision of a new turnback facility, will be essential to accommodate the planned implementation of longer rolling stock services. The redevelopment of these platforms will enable permissive working of two 6x24m (144m) trains, in two of the four platforms at the Airport Station. This will allow for the unaltered retention of all existing TOC services both originating and terminating at the Airport Station under 'double-stacking' conditions. The scope areas for this package are as follows: -Installation, maintenance and removal of rail track protection. -Structural enabling and demolition works to an existing bridge structure. -Removal and disposal of road and pavement surfacing, kerbs, ducts and associated materials. -Careful removal and storage of existing coping stones and pilaster caps for potential reuse. -Demolition of existing parapets, pilasters, precast beams, cill beams and south abutment concrete. -Demolition and disposal of bridge structural elements in accordance with project requirements. -Working within a rail environment with compliance to all relevant safety and possession requirements."
